Matshidiso Sebitloane is the Founder and CEO of Apex Terra Resources, bringing over two decades of experience across Africa's mining sector in technical, operational, executive, and regulatory leadership roles. Her expertise spans mining operations, health and safety leadership, risk management, regulatory governance, operational optimisation, and strategic business leadership.

Her academic journey reflects her passion for leadership and innovation. She holds a Master of Business Leadership from UNISA, a Baccalaureus Technologiae in Mining Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Management at UCAM, Spain. She is also a certified Mine Manager, with additional qualifications in underground blasting, rock breaking, and quarrying.

Matshidiso is recognised for her ability to connect operational realities with regulatory expectations and investor requirements. Combining technical credibility with board-level insight, stakeholder intelligence, and capital awareness, she advises mining companies, investors, and industry stakeholders on navigating complex challenges while unlocking long-term value.

Through Apex Terra Resources, she leads the delivery of sustainable mining intelligence that enables organisations to reduce risk, strengthen governance, enhance operational performance, and create lasting impact across African mining jurisdictions.
